Accessibility Statement
BugProspects is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
BugProspects aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as defined by the W3C. WCAG 2.1 AA is the current standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in web accessibility enforcement and settlement agreements.
Current Status: Partially Conformant — some parts of the content do not fully conform (see Known Issues below). We are actively working to achieve full conformance.
Our Accessibility Commitments (POUR Principles)
Perceivable
All non-text content has text alternatives. Captions and transcripts provided where applicable. Content can be presented in different ways without losing information.
Operable
All functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation. No content flashes more than 3 times per second. Users have enough time to read and use content.
Understandable
Text is readable and understandable. Pages behave in predictable ways. Users are helped to avoid and correct mistakes.
Robust
Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
Technical Accessibility Features
- Semantic HTML5 elements used throughout for logical document structure.
- ARIA labels and landmarks applied to interactive components.
- Sufficient color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements.
- Images include descriptive alt attributes; decorative images have empty alt text.
- Forms include associated labels and descriptive error messages.
- Responsive design supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- No content relies solely on color to convey meaning.
- Skip navigation link available to bypass repetitive navigation.
